Hello Everyone:
. . . . brrrrr winter is coming!
As reported the "Annual Turkey Supper" was a
great success. THANK YOU to everyone who participated and helped!
1. This Sunday- 7 P.M. will be
the Annual WACOCA Thanksgiving Service at St. John's Church (Pastor Ron
Dafler)
Please mark your calendar!
2. There will be no Adult
Bible Study on Wednesdays until further announcement.
Choir Practice will NOT be held this
coming Wednesday and will resume the following Wednesday at 6:30 P.M.
3. This coming Monday will be
our last Youth Meeting. The youth is a wonderful group of young people
and very eager to learn about our faith. Their participation and
attendance has been excellent. We will celebrate our last meeting with
a Pizza Party and just have fun. |
4. As you may know I will be on
vacation in the month of December. I will not be available for
counseling or any calls or visitations, unless it is an absolute emergency
(funeral, etc.) Please contact your Deacon in case you need any
assistance.
However, I will preach the Sunday Services
and Christmas Eve Service.
Thank you for the many emails I received over
the last few weeks. Please know, that all of you will always be in my
prayers.
Olan Mills made their
Online Directory available to us,
where you will be able to login. However, you will need a Username and

Current Updates and Prayer
Requests: |
1. Donna S.
I visited Donna at the hospital and she is in tremendous pain and there have
been some problems with some medical procedure. Donna and family
are exhausted and in need of your prayers.
2. Ira is
currently in a nursing home for rehabilitation, and I visited him this week.
He is in a uplifting mood, and he believes that he will be released within
the next 12 days to move forward with some other medical procedure.
Please continue to pray for his ongoing healing.
3. I talked to
Phyllis M. this week on the phone and they are doing great in 80
degree weather. Their granddaughter had written me a heart breaking
card and it came just at the right time.
4. Continue to
pray for our church, so that we all will be guided by the Holy
Spirit that brings glory to all of us.
5. My "brother"
Tony and his wife Linda (the son of the host family I stayed with
as an exchange student) will leave for another tour to Iraq. Please
keep them in your prayers.
I want you to know that I love you, but remember that my love for you does
not even come close to the love of God for all of us.
Your pastor,
friend, and servant,
Manfred
